Helen has enjoyed a varied and successful acting career and has appeared in many dramas, comedies and musicals. Touring most recently with such companies as Hull Truck and the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, she has played parts which displayed to the full her versatility and musical skills. Her work has taken her to repertory theatres all over the country as well as to venues in Germany, Austria and the West End. Helen's television appearences have included six months in EastEnders for the BBC, and the final episode of Inspector Morse ( ITV ). More recently she has appeared in Attachments, directed by Ken Loach, and an episode of Murder In Mind . For nine months Helen played Carol Wareing in Emmerdale (YTV) , and can now be seen appearing regularly as Frankie Dean in Channel Four’s Hollyoaks.
